What We Offer : Expert Input
Our experienced and qualified team are available, often at short notice, for periods of a few days to a few weeks. Other short term expert input can be delivered by our network of Associates and Scottish-based economic development organisations.
In particular, our staff have hands-on experience of current Structural Funds programming issues and can offer real time, practical and tested advice to agencies involved in programme implementation, alongside a range of practical and relevant case studies.
We can also provide the services of experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience, in a range of economic development fields, including business development and financial engineering; social inclusion; innovation; vocational training; tourism and the horizontal themes of equal opportunities and sustainable development.

Managing the Verification Process (European Structural Funds)
In 2009, ESEP Ltd developed and launched the delivery of an accredited training programme for operational staff within the Structural Funds Division of the Scottish Government, in order to provide them with the necessary knowledge and understanding of European Structural Funds management verification to a level sufficient to meet the requirements of auditors from the European Commission and the European Court of Auditors.

Gordon McLaren, ESEP Ltd Director of Business Development, has been commissioned by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations to provide expert consultancy on the future roles and responsibilities of Scotland's voluntary sector in contributing to national and local development priorities under the next programming period for the European Structural Funds Programmes across Scotland.
