In October 2013 ESEP Ltd organised a study visit to Scotland and Northern Ireland for senior officials of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Ministry of European Integration and CBC management structures of Kosovo as part of the Technical Assistance for Cross Border Cooperation Programme project. In this EU funded project, ESEP is working with the Kosovar administration to provide support in managing three cross-border programmes.
The 6-day study visit aimed to expose participants to actual practices of EU cross-border projects on the ground in the areas of management at Operational Programme Level, management of grants schemes for cross-border programmes, support given to local projects and project promoters in application and managing projects and monitoring systems for projects and programmes.
The study tour programme involved visits to the Scottish Government, Scotland Europa, Convention of Scottish Local Authorities Office (COSLA), VisitScotland, Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), the University of Glasgow, and the European Policies Research Centre (EPRC) Strathclyde University. TradeLinks II and Geo-Tourism (Mourne-Cooley-Gullion) projects in Northern Ireland supported under INTERREG were also visited.
For a period of 17 months, ESEP Ltd provided expert staff with practical experience of managing European Structural Funds Programmes to assist the Technical Assistance Directorate of the Managing Authority for the Environment Operational Programme in Romania.
ESEP has been selected to provide support to State Labour Inspectorate and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the fight against undeclared work in Macedonia.
ESEP has been successfully appointed to provide support to the Croatian Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure – Directorate of Transport Infrastructure in the management of the Transport Operating Programme.
