Experts in European Funds Management and Economic Development Across Europe
Although we have a small staff of highly qualified European funding practitioners, from time to time we need to identify additional expertise to deliver work in Scotland and further afield. We are always pleased to hear from development professionals who wish to join our list of Associates.
Typically, an EU-funded contract will run from 1 to 4 years. The contract will require a full-time team leader and a number of specialists or experts on a full or part-time basis to work over the life of the contract. The workload will normally be expressed in terms of number of days to be delivered, and usually only whole work days delivered in country will be paid for – travel time, UK-based preparation and holiday/sick leave will not be covered.
The selection of experts for these contracts is crucial to the success of the project. CVs must be submitted as part of the tender and are scored and assessed during the selection process. The contract is awarded on the basis that the work will be delivered by these named experts. Generally these posts require University-level qualifications, significant length of work experience including projects outside the UK, and a full portfolio of references. ESEP Ltd offers a full back up and support service for its associates working abroad, including full detailed briefings, insurance cover and travel arrangements.
