Further Information : Labour Market Information

A key source of LMI is Futureskills Scotland which is part of Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise.

It aims to :

  • Analyse the Scottish labour market to inform policy making in Scotland and further afield;
  • improve the availability, quality and consistency of labour market information and intelligence across Scotland; and
  • work closely with Careers Scotland to provide the organisation and its clients with labour market information
  • Futureskills Scotland's website www.futureskillsscotland.org.uk contains the following sections:

    Scotland's economy contains a diverse mix of industries. Futureskills Scotland produce sectoral reports covering key industries in the Scottish economy. The reports are updated periodically to ensure that the information, dates and analysis meets the needs of users.
