How To Apply : Registration of Organisation
All organisations must complete the Organisation Registration Process before applying for European Structural Funds under the Lowlands and Uplands Programmes.
By completing the registraion process organisations establish their eligibility to apply for funds. The three main categories of eligible applicant organisations are:
- Public Sector
- Voluntary or Charitable Organisations
- Joint Ventures (Public/Private Partnerships)
This process applies to organisations that are new to European Structural Funds and those that have received funding under previous Structural Funds Programmes.
Registration by an organisation will only be required once, regardless of the number of applications submitted. Once an organisation has successfully registered under the Lowlands and Uplands Scotland Programme they are automatically registered to apply under the Highlands and Islands Programme and vice versa.
As part of the Registration process particular documents must also be submitted with the form. These include:
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- A list of Board Members
- A copy of the organisation's Business Plan, or equivalent
- Details of the organisational Management Structure
- A copy of the most recent annual accounts plus previous two years
However, not all organisations are required to provide legal and financial information.
Further information on the registration process can be found by downloading the Registration of Organisation Guidance Notes
For the Second Application Round in 2008 the Organisation Registration Process will form part of the new €UROSYS system
