The effective implementation and management of the Programme is achieved through the operation of the following committees;
East of Scotland Objective 2 Programme 2000 - 2006 Decision Making Process

Programme Monitoring Committee (PMoC)
This is chaired by the Scottish Executive will all other support functions delegated to the Programme Management Executive (PME). The role of the PMoC is to oversee the strategic implementation of the Programme.

Programme Management Committee (PMC)
The role of the PMC is to approve projects based on the recommendations of the advisory groups. The PMC take into account any operational policy and procedural issues which the Advisory Groups may have identified and act on these accordingly.

Advisory Groups
The Advisory Group appraises projects and come to a judgement as to whether or not a project should go forward to the PMC for approval. There are 3 Advisory Groups, one for each of the Priorities.
