Awards made under the Shadow Round

Following the appraisal of the applications for funding through the European Social Fund, Mr Alan Wilson - Deputy Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning - approved the funding of £10 million for 52 applications under the Shadow Round of the ESF Lowlands and Uplands Programme.

The Shadow Round application evaluation process followed an open and transparent partnership approach, involving several Advisory Groups drawn from across all sectors who reviewed and appraised the applications.

Although due to the condensed appraisal timescale, some technical and eligiblity checks are still to be completed before offer letters can be issued, confirming the exact amounts of grant for each project.
