ESEP has won a EUR2.3M technical assistance contract to support Croatia's transition into the EU. The 2-year project will support the development of the 2014-2020 ERDF regional competitiveness programme and a pipeline of eligible infrastructure and national projects.
Croatia is due to become the 28th Member State of the EU in July 2013. Drawing upon our many years of expereince in managing and administering European funding in Scotland, ESEP will support the Croatian Government as it moves from EU pre-accession support to managing its own Structural Funds programmes. As leader of an international consortium, ESEP will deliver high quality international experience and help build capacity at the local level in order to ensure that Croatia can maximise the benefit from the new EU funding streams as quickly as possible.

For a period of 17 months, ESEP Ltd provided expert staff with practical experience of managing European Structural Funds Programmes to assist the Technical Assistance Directorate of the Managing Authority for the Environment Operational Programme in Romania.
Gordon McLaren, ESEP Ltd Director of Business Development, has been commissioned by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations to provide expert consultancy on the future roles and responsibilities of Scotland's voluntary sector in contributing to national and local development priorities under the next programming period for the European Structural Funds Programmes across Scotland.
