ESEP has won a EUR1.04M EU-funded contract to provide technical assistance for Cross Border Cooperation in Kosovo. Running until 2015, ESEP experts will assist the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Ministry of European Integration and other stakeholders to set up and implement three cross border cooperation programmes between Kosovo and Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania. Each programme will provide grant assistance to support local projects aimed at strengthening cross border economic, social, environmental and cultural links.
Cross Border Cooperation is a key initiaitive of the EU in terms of the Enlargement Agenda and as an important precursor of Structural Funds. ESEP is leading a consortium including WYG International and Development Group LLC to deliver international expertise backed by local support to enhance the prosperity of the border regions.

ESEP is a UK-based specialist manager of EU regional development funding programmes. Originally set up as a partnership between the Scottish Government, public sector agencies and NGOs, we have been involved in the management of four consecutive EU programming periods since 1994.
Gordon McLaren, ESEP Ltd Director of Business Development, has been commissioned by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations to provide expert consultancy on the future roles and responsibilities of Scotland's voluntary sector in contributing to national and local development priorities under the next programming period for the European Structural Funds Programmes across Scotland.
